Scrubbing Out...

After 2 weeks, and im now scrubbing out. It was a good experience having been assigned at the Operating Room. Although, it's not really my choice and my favorite area I still enjoyed my stay there especially with the company of my new friends. It's a little sad that i had to leave the area this early. Moving out from OR and moving in to ER.

With Rach...
With Kat and Jach...
My OR buddies...
US at the pantry...
Kulitan moments...
I'm gonna miss everyone (rach, jach, kat, pat, cris, tin, marco and eric)...
Dont forget our Daily weird quotes =D (Love myself, wat u can do 2day do 2day, and others)
Thank you for the kalog, happy times at OR...
Will see each other soon... Promise...

Sweet.

This afternoon my Husband left home for an out of town official assignment in the province. It was so unexpected. We weren’t able to kiss goodbyes personally because I was at the hospital having my duty.

Just when I arrived home, I found these cute notes around the house.

Wanna see my husband’s handwriting?

Awww... little things are the sweetest =D

Hehe. Funny that he left the notes at these weird places, bathroom, drawer, freezer and ref.

I.Cannot.Write

Yup, I'm sort of in a bum lately. I can't seem to put the thoughts in my head. Or, more like, I could, but they don't seem to sound right.

On Marriage…

To keep your marriage brimming,
With love in the loving cup,
Whenever you're wrong admit it;
Whenever you're right shut up.

-Ogden Nash

Im so mababaw...

Lately , I have been spending my past times watching local shows. I know I’m beginning to be baduy and “Jologs”.

Shows that I watch and follow…

Boys Over Flowers

This show makes me GAGA, as in gaga to death! I always get twitterpated by Jun Pyo and Jan Di. At first, I only watched the show out of curiosity, then came to realize that I was strictly following the show. I love the show it makes me kilig all the time. Pardon me, im so mababaw these days.

Tayong Dalawa

My husband’s been watching the show from the very start. I remember him asking me watch the show for him whenever he’s not around and to relay it to him when he gets home. I would always tease him for that. I never thought that a guy like my husband would watch teleseryes.
I’m not a Kimerald fanatic, I just love the story and the different characters of the show. I like the two D. Garcia’s. But Ramon’s (Coco Martin) character is better.

Eat Bulaga

My favorite noon time show ever since I was a kid.

Startalk and The Buzz
I watch the show every weekends for the latest showbiz chika...

Thankful.

While I’m still recovering from my flu, I begin reading blogs of different types of people. Some I may know, and some I do not know. Reading different true to life stories can be heart breaking and inspirational at times. After reading more than 200 posts, I was ambivalent. I didn’t understand what I felt. I was happy to realize that I’m lucky, to have not everything but a bit of everything. However, I felt sad for those who are going through tough times. I’ve learned to appreciate my life now more than I did before.

I definitely love my life…

I’m Glad to have Life’s 3F’s…

Family. I feel so blessed that I was born to wonderful and loving parents. My parents are always supportive of me. Parents are always misunderstood by their children. But for us, it’s much lesser. Whenever my brothers and I did something wrong, our parents would handle the situation patiently. They were never strict nor the easygoing type, they are just the coolest and best in town. I love my brothers. I may not have a sister but I have two brothers who are always there to lend a helping hand. I really wish them well and hope that they will be successful too in their careers. I’m happy to gain another family. Carlo’s family was always there to help us. I’m thankful that I have maintained good relationships with my in-laws. Soon in the near future, I will have my own family. My husband and I will be building our own family. I’m grateful that we are inspired by each other’s family. We see each others family as models. I’m thankful to God that our family is okay and everyone is in good health.

Friends. They say true friends are hard to find, but I’ve got a bundle! I feel so blessed to have such true and loyal friends. I know not everyone can say about theirs. That is why I treasure my relationship with my friends a lot. I owe big time to my mom for teaching me as early as elementary days what friendship is. My relationship with my friends has been tested by time and challenged by trials. I classify myself to be introvert to strangers and to people that I don’t really know. With my friends, I feel that I can be me all the time, no pretentions, no hesitations. No matter how old we are now, we still laugh with each others company just like the old days.

Forever Love. I’m thankful that Carlo has come into my life. I’m so blessed to have such a caring and loving husband. My husband has always been very supportive of me in anything and everything. Weve been through the highest highs and the terribly lows. I love my husband so much. I love that with him I can be me, talk about anything. I'm so happy that finally I found someone to spend my whole life with. Happy to enjoy and live life with my husband. Holding on each others arms feels like heaven on earth. I still can’t believe that he’s my other half. I’m still not used to being Mrs. A. I’m so happy to spend my entire life with him. I love that we are now one.

What a world is like without him??
Lifeless.

To my Husband: You are my hearts desire and I know no end to desiring you. I love you more and more each day. =D

I love being your wifey and to have you as my Hubby. I just love you so so so.

I love you so much, baby!!! Thanks for all the love. I’m so lucky to have married you and to be able to grow old with you. I am so blessed to have you in my life.

I love you so much, Hubbylicious! And will continue to love you more and more each passing day.

And for Everyone:

We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life,
when all that we need to make us really happy is something to be enthusiastic about.

(Charles Kingsley, English politician, 1819-1875)

Life is sweet...

Live as you were to die tomorrow...
Learn as if you were to live forever...

I absolutely love my life...

Conversations @ the Airport

At the Airport, upon checking in…

Man at the counter went out and stared at me…

"Maam, Are you Pregnant?”

"No.”

Man stares @ me again..

"Are you sure?”

"I’m very Sure…”

C’mon… WTF? What the hell was he talking about? Do I really look preggy these days? I better start dieting and exercising, ASAP!

Home Sweet Home

I'm on my 5th Day stay here in Zamboanga and I'm having so much fun. I have been missing Zambo a lot. I miss the fresh air here, no bumper to bumper traffic, I miss sleeping in my dark room, Food and most of all I miss being with my family and friends.

During my first day, I requested my Mom to cook "Tinolang Manok" (one of the foods to eat on my list) for me. I have been craving to eat native chicken. Then, I went to fetch my little cousins and asked them to stay the whole afternoon at home. I missed them badly, how i wish they were my sisters.

The next day, Sheena, Rigil and I went to eat New York Pizza (another Food on my list) @ Catribo. And from there we had a few drinks (Tropics of Angelo) at a bar ( forgot the name). The place was empty and so we decided to change place (Karaoke) and few more drinks.

Karaoke Night
Day 3. Rigil, Angeli and I went to Tambayan, one of my favorite place to hangout way back in College. I ordered Beef Salpicado with 2 Garlic rice plus JelloBukopandan (another on my list). We stayed there for almost 2 hours, talking about highschool, chatting about nonsense things, and Gossips. We didn't have much pictures at Tambayan because we were so busy chatting. After then, we headed to 3rd Cup, it was my first time to visit the place. I have heard a lot of things about it but never got the chance to visit the place before. The place was nice and food was cheap and affordable. We didnt bring any laptop with us because we didnt know we were going there. Good thing they have this laptop for rent with free wifi, cool! We watched different funny videos at youtube. I didnt know that such videos (apocalypto bisaya version) existed. Angeli translated the conversation to Us. I have never laughed like I did that night for a long time. Its so fun to be with Girlfriends.
3rd Cup with Angeli and Rigil

Day 4. I went out with College friends. We ate dinner at Tropics (another on my musts eat list). We reminisced and laughed about old days, college days. We had a lot of pictures. Then, We headed to Catribo for few drinks. It was Fun. I am very thankful and blessed to have such loyal and true friends. I know not everyone can say that about theirs that’s why I treasure mine a lot.

Cheers to friendship

Day 5. I stayed at home the whole day. Trying to be productive, I cleaned my room, Fixed my closet and arranged Our wedding gifts. I'm still completing my must to eat list (siomai @ FF, Knicker bker @ Palmeras, Cake @ Myrnas, etc...)
For the 3 nights I was with my friends, I think my trip to Zamboanga was already worth it…
P.S.
I miss you, Baby…

xoxo,
D.

Back to Blogging

Long time no Blog.I haven't post anything for more than a week now. I have been very busy the entire week mostly due to the preparation for my “biglaan” trip to Zamboanga. I had to rush myself going to different malls in the metro just to do some emergency shopping for Pasalubong (stress on Pasalubong). Luckily, I found and bought lots of sale items! Very Good Buys. It's great when you get to buy all the things you need without spending a lot. And thats what you call Wise Shopping!
Aside from WS, I went to watch Doll Domination @ Moa last June 11. PCDolls were the hottest. Gorgeous. The concert was the best, as in OVER sa Performance Level…. Not to mention that we had to push ourselves forward (quite a hard thing to do) to get a better view. Wearing High Heels was very useful considering my 5'2' height.

Camwhoring while waiting for the dolls
Making Funny faces with my College Friend, Windel Patagoc (Barkada's Answer Provider for Stat , Physics exams! Lol!) Concert was very Impressive. And im now Dominated by the Dolls.

After the Concert, we headed to SB for some Java Chip.

Note: Photos taken by Manong Waiter of SB =D

With ever-so-tanned Windel...To friendship, =D Next Project: Lady Gaga (Hopefully she will visit Pinas soon)

This time Gold Ticket na...
